Terms of Service
Last updated October 23, 2026
These terms govern your use of SurchargeBack (the “Service”), operated by Abdelmalek Salah Eldin Abdelalim Elsayed Abdelwahab, trading as SurchargeBack (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you use the Service for a business, you confirm you're authorized to accept these terms for it.
1. What the Service does
SurchargeBack is document analysis software. You upload invoices and related documents; the Service identifies charges in them that are labeled as tariff surcharges or similar, summarizes them, and produces reports (an “evidence pack”) and editable draft messages.
2. Not legal, tax or financial advice
SurchargeBack is not a law firm, an accounting firm or a collection agency. The Service does not provide legal, tax or financial advice, does not tell you whether anyone owes you money, and does not contact third parties on your behalf. Reports describe what appears in the documents you provide. You are responsible for any decision you make and any message you send. For advice about your situation, consult a qualified professional.
3. Accuracy and your review
The Service uses automated tools, including AI models, to read documents. It can miss items or misread them. You must review each finding before relying on it; only findings you confirm are included in the evidence pack totals. We provide the Service “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.
4. Your content
You keep all rights to the documents you upload. You grant us a limited license to store and process them only to provide the Service to you. You confirm you have the right to upload them. Don't upload documents you aren't entitled to share, or content that is unlawful.
5. Payments
Scans and review are free. Unlocking an evidence pack is a one-time payment shown before you pay. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Refunds follow our Refund Policy.
6. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the Service: no attempts to access other users' data, overload or reverse engineer the Service, or use it to harass anyone. We may suspend accounts that do.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including any amount you did or did not recover from a supplier.
8. Ending use
You can delete your scans at any time and stop using the Service. We may change or discontinue the Service with reasonable notice.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. If changes are material we'll tell you by email or in the app. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
